If you can't stop thinking about it, don't stop hustling....

So a little bit about my current job, despite being 25, I am already at working with my second company. Th

It took me a while post-graduation to know what I wanted to do. My major obstacle was deciding between living and working in London or Malta.

My partner was based in Malta so that was a big swing for me to work in Malta and I assumed the job market would be easier to get a good entry level job. I was right, there were more entry level jobs available and less competition and I was a good candidate. What I found out however was that very few of the jobs met the criteria and experience I was after and most of the companies didn’t fit the atmosphere I was so eager to find at work. Eventually I was offered a position at a company that I thought I really wanted. I was super excited to start and get going. After a while though I realised that it actually wasn’t what I was actually after.

But it was a difficult to decide that the job really wasn't for me and I felt should I be grateful for this job, for the

experience and for the salary at the end of the month. It was a brilliant role and I was learning so much although not necessarily things. However after a while I decided life is too short and I have always been someone who wanted a career I love so waking up in the morning and going to work happy is important to me. With that decisionI decided to find something else.

Luckily, and very much out of the blue, I found a new role rather fast. I have been in this position for 4 months and I am super happy. It ticks a lot of boxes, its an online business and I am working with online and digital marketing and being exposed to a lot of new experiences. These are experiences which I feel would be very useful for any of my business ideas. It is a lot a start-up environment and very much an 'all hand on deck' company so I am very grateful that I found this opportunity. The only thing that I am slightly disappointed by is that is the industry of the company which is an industry I don't like at all however for the interm I am learning so much and like the team so hopefully all I gather from here will help me find an role in a international city (yep considering a big move abroad) and with a company in an industry I love (fashion). Or hopefully I find enough spare time to kick start my company!
